Standards for Admission:
Consideration for admission to any career
program listed for a campus requires a high school diploma
or equivalent (such as the General Education Development
test (GED) or an accredited home study course). Applicants who haven't earned a high school diploma or GED and are over 18 years of age may be eligible for admission under the Ability to Benefit provision.
In addition, on some campuses, there are various
entrance examinations that must be successfully passed in
order to be accepted into a program. Interested parties
should contact the campus of their choice directly to inquire about such
requirements.
There are additional standards that apply
to Remington College - Honolulu Campus. Click
here for details.
Transfer Credit:
Remington College accepts transfer credits
from many accredited colleges and universities. Credits
are accepted on the basis of applicability to the chosen
program of study.
Students transferring credits from other post-secondary
institutions may transfer up to 50% of the credit hours
required to graduate in a particular program offered by
the institution.
For credits to be accepted, students must
have an official transcript and school catalog (preferably
from the time of their attendance) sent directly from the
previous educational institution. Transfer credits will
not be allowed for any class for which the student did not
make a grade of "C" or better.
