Computer Networking Technology

(24 month Associate Program)

Computer Networking TechnologyThe program includes an intensive study of general computer science including PC architecture, desktop operating systems, and related computer courses to help to prepare you to: install, configure, maintain, and trouble shoot local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN) and intranets, using DOS and Windows-based network operating systems.

The objective of the program is to provide graduates with the skills and knowledge that will enable them to qualify for entry-level positions such as:

  • Computer hardware repair technicians
  • Network technicians
  • Network administrators
  • Network support administrators
  • Network engineers
  • Internet/intranet Specialists
  • LAN/WAN technicians
